Bedford’s Landscape Management at Its Best

Bedford could almost be said to be doubly-centered. This city of around 49,000 is part of the DFW Metroplex, lying midway between Dallas and Fort Worth. But it’s also nestled comfortably in the center of the HEB (Hurst, Euless, and Bedford) area, between the towns of Hurst and Euless, earning it the tagline, “Discover the Center.” Bedford is also conveniently located between two major business centers – 23 minutes from the one in Dallas and 18 minutes from Fort Worth’s – and boasts proximity to over eight universities and community colleges. But higher learning isn’t the only education Bedford’s citizens can be proud of, as the HEB Independent School District was among those named in the top ten percent of school systems nationwide. And Bedford knows how to have fun! In addition to the abundance of activities provided by the area’s golf, tennis, recreation, and athletic centers, lakes, and eight parks, Bedford hosts community events year ‘round. A few of these are the outdoor Twilight Concert Series, the Bedford Blues and BBQ Fest, the 4th Fest with live music, food, kids’ activities and of course, fireworks, and the Arts Fest.
